About The Book

This work has taken Important Points and Objectives from The Minhaj Al-Qasidin of Ibn Al-Jawzi which in tern is a Summary of that Magnum Opus of Imam al-Ghazali The 'Ihya Ulum Ad-Din', however Ibn Al-Jawzi Compiled the book free from weak or fabricated Hadith and then by Ibn Qudama.

Ibn Jawzi Says : "I Have relied only on Authentic and famous narrations, and I deleted from or added to the original book what seems necessary."

The author has divided the book into four components:

1) Religious Practices
2) Uses
3) Causes of the sinking
4) Means of Salvation

In Short this is a Summarized and Authenticated Version The masterpiece of Imam al-Ghazali, By Two Renowned Classical Scholars first Ibn Al-Jawzi and then Ibn Qudama Al-Maqdisi.

About The Author

Najm Al-Din Ibn Qudama al-Maqdisi was a reputable  Classical scholar author of the main Hanbali 'fiqh' manual knows as Al-Mughni',  as well as this book 'Mukhtasar Minhaj Al-Qasidin' (a summary of Ghazali's 'Ihya ulum ad-din') and 'Tahrim an-Nazar' ('Censure of Speculative Theology'), an attack on Ibn Aqil's rationalist views.

He was born in Palestine in 541 AH, where he became  Hafidh of  the Qur'an at an early age and moved to Baghdad where he studied under some established scholars such as Shaykh Abdul-Qadir in his final days (i.e. before he passed away), Ibn Al-Jawzi, Hibat-ullah Ibn Al-Hasan Ad-Daqaq, Abi'l Fath Ibn Al-Battee, Abi Zur'ah Ibn Tahir, Yahya Ibn Thaabit, Khadeejah An-Nahrawaniyah and others.

The Noble  Imam of Al-Hanabilah in Damascus Mosque  died in Damascus In the Year 620 Hijri.

'O ye who believe! When ye are told to make room in the assemblies, (spread out and) make room: (ample) room will Allah provide for you. And when ye are told to rise up, rise up Allah will rise up, to (suitable) ranks (and degrees), those of you who believe and who have been granted (mystic) knowledge. And Allah is well- acquainted with all ye do.
